Welcome to Coach Manuel Diaz's

Bulldog Tennis Camp

We are excited to be running our 50th annual Bulldog Tennis Camp this year!

Coach Manuel Diaz and his staff provide campers with the same championship instruction he utilized to lead the Bulldogs to the 1999, 2001,2007 and 2008 National Championships. The 2007, 2001 and 1995 National Coach of the Year, Diaz has won an amazing 25 SEC titles and is in his 28th year as the head coach of the Bulldogs.

Coach Diaz will be assisted by Coach Bo Hodge who helped guide the Oklahoma Sooners to a program record with 29 wins in 2015, the school's first National Indoor title and the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Championship.  In Hodge's four years, an Oklahoma player finished the season ranked in the top-15 nationally in singles five times, including this past season when Axel Alvarez ended the year ranked No. 1 and was also named the ITA National Player of the Year.

The camp will be held at the perennial site of the NCAA Championships,The Dan Magill Tennis complex, which holds 12 outdoor courts as well as four indoor courts.

The Georgia Bulldog Tennis Camp will provide instruction for every level of play. For the beginner, basic fundamentals and stroke production will be emphasized. For the intermediate players, refinement of the fundamentals: Footwork, Grips, Strokes and Strategy will be stressed. The advanced players will be trained at the same intensity level and similar drills that we train our Bulldog college players. Along with match play and conditioning, the emphasis concentrated in challenging the campers regardless of their level of play.

All camps are open to any and all entrants limited

These activities are not sponsored by, nor do any fees paid accrue to the benefit of The University of Georgia Athletic Association or the Regents of the University System of Georgia, none of which assume any responsibility for injury or damages to person or property arising out of any occurrence during this activity.
